CJ (also previously posting as Perplexity at this blog) has no credentials which make her authorized in any way to write about Buddhism, other than having been interested in Buddhism for many years, having investigated traditions from Tibetan to Vipassana to Zen.  She sometimes questions whether the act of blogging about oneself and one’s personal practice isn’t an ego-driven activity, but she doesn’t let these things stop her from blogging.   She regularly sits with a Rinzai Zen sangha, where they sometimes let her serve tea and bang on the mukugyo during chanting.

Besides blogging and sitting, she also works in geriatrics, mothers two adolescent girls, sometimes rides her bike as weather permits, and reads as much as possible.
